How to review and correct OCR results

When to use it

A searchable PDF produced by OCR must be checked visually and through its digital text layer. This guide finds errors in names, numbers, tables and reading order. The situations below show when this guide can help you choose the right workflow and avoid unnecessary processing.

How it works

Limitations

Limitations describe the current implementation boundary and the cases that require additional review. Check them before uploading, especially when a document is complex, protected or contains important structure.

• High confidence does not guarantee that a name, number or similar character is correct.
