Support and complaints
Support cannot access PDF content by default. A job ID, correlation ID, operation, time and safe error code are normally enough to investigate.
The only public channel is support@pdfnik.com. Do not attach a PDF, page image, password, cookie, signed URL or OCR text.
1. What you may include
- Job ID or correlation ID.
- Operation type and safe error code.
- Approximate time, browser and operating system.
- A synthetic example with no real data only when genuinely needed.
2. What not to send
- The PDF, a page screenshot or OCR text.
- PDF, account or admin password, cookie, token or signed URL.
- Unnecessary personal information or secrets.
3. Document access
Support access to PDF content is technically disabled. Support receives only allowlisted identifiers, time and safe status/error information. A deleted session file cannot be restored.
4. Privacy complaint or request
State that the message is a privacy request and describe the action: account-data access, correction, deletion, restriction or analytics-consent withdrawal. Do not send the PDF as identity evidence.
5. Critical issue
If another person’s document appears, access is not revoked or deletion does not complete, stop using the service and contact support immediately. Include safe IDs and time, not content.
6. Browsers and accessibility
Chrome/macOS and emulated mobile scenarios have an internal regression baseline. Safari, Firefox, Edge and screen readers have limited evidence; independent WCAG review was skipped and full conformance is not claimed.
7. Response time and territory
No guaranteed support response time is set for the free service. Users located in the Russian Federation are not served. The Russian translation is available only to users outside the Russian Federation.
